Dear Emmie,

One is for how wonderful you can be
Two is for your sapphire eyes so sparkly

Three is for the three beats my heart gives to you
Four is for  all the things you say and you do

Five is for the five fingers held close in my hand
Six is for six kisses we share in the sand

Seven is for each day we share our give and take
Eight is what we do to the foods you cook and bake

Nine is four the nine smiles you give to me.
Ten is for the years we've shared so eagerly!
